 The Notre Dame Club of Boston and Lazarus House have partnered through the Summer Service Program for several years. As an extension of that partnership, the Club would like to encourage its members and constituents to participate in the Lazarus Hike For Hope.
The Hike for Hope provides the funding for Capernaum Place, our 20-unit transitional housing facility for families, and the required programs including education, work preparation, job placement, and life skills training. Families are provided with a safe, healthy, productive and respectful environment as they transition from homelessness to independent living and self-sufficiency. To date 91% of former Capernaum residents have found permanent housing. "It has been my second chance in life! We have a roof over our head, stability and are getting our bills up to date.
