If you are interested in volunteering, please join the ND Club of Boston and the Notre Dame Senior Alumni for a service project at St. Ambrose Family Shelter, a residential services site of Catholic Charities of Boston, on Saturday, September 18th! There are two events planned for the 18th.
- First, the ND Club of Boston is sponsoring a food drive for the Shelter; delivery of the food collection will be made at the Shelter at 10:00 a.m.; and
- Second, Notre Dame Club volunteers will also help out with yard work, cleaning of the Shelter’s playroom, general building needs, and organizing of donated goods.
St. Ambrose Family Shelter is a homeless shelter located in the Field's Corner section of Dorchester, providing support for homeless families in transition. This event is inclusive of both Notre Dame alumni and family members. The St. Ambrose Family Shelter is family-friendly. Families are welcome; children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. St. Ambrose is accessible via the MBTA’s Red Line or by car. Please contact Chris Becker at 617-320-7444 (or by email at
