What is an ASC and how does someone become involved in the ASC Committee?

An Alumni Schools Chairperson (ASC) is a member of a Notre Dame alumni club who serves as a liaison between the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the local club. ASCs typically sit on the alumni club’s Board and provide frequent updates and information to Board members about local recruitment efforts and the admissions process.
Did you love your years at Notre Dame? Do you enjoy speaking about your time at your alma mater? If so and you have a high level of spirit for ND, you should join the Alumni Schools Committee! We actively recruit alums to assist in speaking with prospective students at local high school college fairs in the fall and spring, in addition to congratulating students via phone once accepted to Notre Dame in December and March.
Our Admitted Students Event in April and the Student Send-Off Mass/Picnic in August are key Club activities, and we welcome you to play an active role. Please contact the Current Student Support Chairperson (see club contact) if you are interested in joining the ASC Committee.
